two flights down under ground,
across four rooms,
opened five doors.
we came to a stop.
the energy was surrounding
vibration and crystals.
pictures of smiling faces,
mountains scrapping the sky
that pierce thru white fluffy clouds.
it all stairs back at me.
as Shree sat and watched me observe his space
with wide eyes.
he told me,
'you have healing hands.'
he told me,
'peace lies within..
to heal those who feel pain.'
he spoke carefully to me,
assuring with a nod
that i under stood
what he meant by these words.
i sat gazing into his eyes.
as my spirit reassured me,
this truth.
i am an introvert, that is learning how to express my inner spirit. deep in the mountains of Boulder, CO where i spend my time running on red dirt trails, i seem to have discovered a voice. so i figure i will step out of my comfort zone and start a blog. i hope you find my photography and words inspiring. namaste.

at the bottom of those grief waters lies a treasure
"those who will not slip beneath
the still surface on the well of grief
turning downward through its black water
to the place we cannot breathe
will never know the source from which we drink,
the secret water, cold and clear,
nor find in the darkness glimmering
the small round coins
thrown by those who wished for something else."

i run ... (to be continued)
i run along the mountain side. i run for the freedom of those suffering from whatever their pain may be. within that comes my freedom... i chant - i pray, i breathe- i run. free and content.

what if....
" what if our religion was each other.
if our practice was our life.
if prayer, our words.
what if the temple was the earth.
if forests were our church.
if holy water - this river, lakes, and oceans.
what if meditation was our relationships.
if the teacher was life.
if wisdom was self - knowledge.
if love was the center of our being."

thirty days
twenty eight years,
my loyal solider has been at war.
until my soul marched straight in.
admitting the words.
ashamed of the darkness
that has reside within.
saying them aloud,
they sting like the licks of
a whip against my back.
hidden by a smile,
to mask the many hateful words
that try to label my heart.
tired,
baffled and
tormented,
my spirit has had enough
and goes to war for peace within.
for my ego
she like to trick my butterfly
keeping her kept within a cocoon.
softly my soul's tongue whispers,
into my loyal solider's ear,
"the war is over, my friend.
Peace is my butterfly's name.
only peace shall emerge and set me free"
the cocoon starts to crack...
